About Us
The Cinderella Program was founded in Oregon in 2006.  It is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) mentoring organization dedicated to  improving the lives of females and at-risk female youth between the ages of seven to seventeen.

The Cinderella Program empowers female youth in our communities to make positive life choices that enable them to maximize their personal and professional potential. The Cinderella Program assesses the needs of each mentee and assigns them to appropriate mentors who will invest their time to provide support, education, and validation to the girls.  We allow quality time for mentees to bond with their mentors for a period of one year.  The mentors are carefully matched with their mentee based on the qualifications of the mentor, and the need(s) of the youth. The Program Mentor will assist the mentee in discovering her true potential.  The mentor will meet with the youth to seek out the areas needed for development of her character. The Cinderella Program will promote and foster positive life skills, and professional aspirations.  The mentees who are ready to enter the work environment will be taught how to dress for success, interviewing techniques, computer skills, and respect for family, community and law enforcement.

The Cinderella Program will provide opportunities for the mentees to attend various cultural events such as dining, trips to the zoo, museum visits, college tours, the symphony, and various sporting events, just to name a few. Our aim is to help reduce and deter generational repetitive crime, as well as save lives of these at-risk female youth by improving their self-esteem and the quality of their lives, and help them to become better productive citizens in their communities.
